Business marketing, business blogs and public relations all took a giant step forward yesterday. Now it will be easier for businesses to use their press releases as marketing tools.  Marketing directly to prospective customers using press releases that are oriented toward your target audience is an emerging trend. 

Technorati (The Google for blogs) and PR Newswire have agreed to a partnership.  PR Newswire readers can read the reactions of bloggers directly from the press release.  The PR Newswire release will have a Technorati button to make this easy.  Thanks to Greg Jarboe of SearchEngineWatch blog for this news. Though I will add, my favorite newswire service, PRWeb has always offered lots of ways to get your press release out on the Internet.  They specialize in online news distribution.  And for small companies, PRWeb is easy on the budget.  In my own PRWeb experience with my clients, I have gotten news releases covered in new online and print industry publications.  The editors simply found the news, because of PRWeb’s excellent distribution.
